Poslaním komunitného centra je zlepšenie kvality života jednotlivcom, rodinám ako aj celej miestnej komunite, ktorá nemá možnosť na zabezpečenie vlastnej pomoci, sociálnu mobilitu, osvojenie a získavanie sociálnych zručností či sebarealizáciu.
Okrem hlavného cieľa si komunitné centrum vytvára špecifické ciele v súlade s aktuálnymi potrebami a problémami členov komunity.
